Because we're trying to use multiple applications from multiple vendors at once, in order to demonstrate interoperability. It's really part of the overall experience. So right now, we're using Clearspace for the front-end, Google Apps for email and calendaring, Zoho Share for sharing presentations, Clearspace again for the Office 2.0 Database's front-end, Zoho creator for the back-end, Veodia for video broadcasting, Presdo for event scheduling, and a few others, all integrated together.

Again, very impressive use of technology. Especially notable is the fact that it's all integrated. Could make for a good case study. Surprised you're not also utilizing Zoho DB & Reports.
