Biography:
From 2005-2008, Andy served as the Director of Client Solutions & Operations for Virgin HealthMiles, a Boston-based start-up offering a web-based health rewards program. Participants were awarded cash for validated health achievement. The company is funded by Richard Branson's Virgin Group. Andy led the business lines' cross-functional efforts to build a scalable service delivery model and worked tirelessly in pursuit of automated improvement. He oversaw, and participated in, the implementation and ongoing program management for the company's corporate clients. Andy also had significant involvement in operations, channel partner / sales support, and member services.
From 2003-2005, Andy served as the initial Business Operations Manager for a 50-person sales support team formed at EMC to offer competitive intelligence for assisting with deal culmination. He was personally responsible for defining operational processes and implementing both interim and eventually enterprise-supported call tracking software systems to support the business' needs.
From 1998-2002 Andy served as a Manager with Arthur Andersen's Corporate Restructuring practice in San Francisco, CA. In this role he advised distressed companies in aspects of operational turnarounds, debt restructuring, and bankruptcy proceedings.
Andy has a BS in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from the University of San Francisco. He still maintains his CPA license in the state of California.
